File -> Setup -> Program Options

 

Enter the values to automatically prime a new entry for these selected fields. If no default is selected you may have problems when attempting to do some of the programs functions. For example: you do not enter the number of days a resource is circulated. If you process a check-out the date checked out will be the same as the date it is due.

 

Setup the defaults for:

adding a new resource,
adding a new member,
adding a new volunteer,
backup options,
overdue fine options,
member circulation history options,
keyword options if checked and how to build the keyword field,
turning the MARC function on or off,
entering a substitute for Dewey 800 code,
Resource default value,
User defined default spine/pocket label.

There is also the option of adding to or replacing what data exists when running the process to change all resources keywords.

 

For keywords there is the option of automatically adding to keywords, never adding to keywords or being asked what you would like to do with each and every new entry.
