At some point you may lose the security file or simply forget the supervisor password and/or login There is only one way to fix this problem. You must delete the file DSSW2.TPS found in the home folder of the Media Library Manager. The default folder is medialibrary. MLM must be closed, an open file cannot be deleted, or renamed.
Click the Yes button!
When there is no security file for MLM to access the first window that will be displayed is the one above. It is imperative that you click the Yes button to display the following window.
Empty new user update window
The following is to add the System Administrator as a supervisor with All Access.
Add a supervisor System Administrator
Enter the following:
First name: System
Surname: Administrator
Login: admin
Change the Default Access to "All Access"
Click OK to save the new supervisor.
Login as admin
Now the User Login window will display requiring the login name, admin and the login password. Unless the password is changed it will always be the same as the Login.
If you do not want to use the MLM security feature at all you must enter the Demo User. Enter the following:
First name: Demo
Surname: User
Login: demo
Change the Default Access to "All Access"
Click OK to save the Demo user. MLM will not ask for a login or password because the Demo User by will by pass the security checks completely.
