Select the default option for Resource, Acquired and Location. Resource is usually Book, or DVD or any type that is in your library.

The button to the right of each of these text fields allows you to pick from the existing list. The advantage of having a list of options that is controlled by the librarian is that each can use the terminology they wish to use. For example your church may not use Budget Funds but something else.
Another big advantage is when the newest technology comes out it can be added to the Resource Type list. In the past library programs were only for books. When audio tapes came out and books on tape were being added to library shelves the currently available library programs had to be rewritten to accommodate the new type of resource.
With MLM all that had be done was add the new resource to the list. A current example is Blue Ray DVD disks. If you want to identify this type of resource all you need do is add Blue Ray to the option list.
