Calendar

To open the calendar and schedule from the main menu bar click: Schedule > Appointment Calendar.  This window has two tabs; the first is the calendar view and the second tab is the daily view.  Access to the many available functions of the wall calendar view, the wall calendar zoom and the daily schedule is using the right button of the mouse.



When the window opens the default view is the wall calendar shown above. This view shows all appointments for the viewing date range for ALL resources. This means an appointment for resource #1, you, is displayed with the appointments for the Counseling resource, #2 for example.

The calendar on the right top is used to navigate through the month, from month to month, and year to year. You can select prior months and years. Click a day on the calendar to jump to the day in any view, either the wall calendar or the daily schedule.



Press the right mouse button while on the wall calendar will popup a small menu of options. The View option is a read only view of the appointment data.  Click the Print option to send the wall calendar to the default printer.

Click the Zoom button to open a weekly view.

Right click on an appointment to edit or delete it. (Deleting an appointment from the wall calendar view will NOT delete other appointments in the same group of Repeated Appointments. See Repeating Appointments for more information.)

The other options available when right clicking on the wall calendar is to Add a new appointment, print the wall calendar or to zoom to the currently selected week.



Right click this view for options similar to the ones available from the wall calendar.  Click Add to enter a new appointment, Edit to change the selected appointment and Delete will remove the appointment.

IMPORTANT NOTE: When changing the date and/or time of a counseling or visitation appointment use the Counseling or Visitation update form to keep both synchronized.  Changing either appointment type from this window will NOT update the Counseling or Visitation record.
