Easy Church
Membership Visit Details |
|
| |
Easy Church Membership starting
with version 2 adds a tool to giving the church the ability to
maintain a list of those members who need their help. On many
occasions the Lord God spoke of the importance for the widows,
orphans and ill of His church family to be cared for by the
church body. The Visitation Manager section of this program will
help with this important ministry.
For I was an hungred, and ye gave
me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger,
and ye took me in: 36 Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick,
and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me. Matt 25:35-36 (KJV)
This is the section of Easy Church Membership
where the staff, deacons, elders, and other volunteers can
schedule and record visits to those who are home bound, in
nursing homes, assisted living, hospital. These individuals may
be having a difficult time because of some personal tragedy and
are in need of spiritual uplifting. |

The persons to be visited are maintained from
this window. The minimal information to add a new record
consists of: name, address, city and state. It is expected but
not required that the person to be added is a church member.
Click on the Lookup button located to the left of the first name
field to select from a list of church members. When the address
for the visit is not the home on record correct it. For example
if the person is in the hospital, enter the name of the hospital
in the first address field and the room number in the second.
A church member may request a visit be made to a family member,
neighbor or friend who is not a church member. Enter the
information for this person.
The top listbox contains all of the persons currently
requiring a visit. The bottom listbox contains all of the visits
made to the currently selected person. The order is by date, the
most recent visit is at the top.
Because this program is multi-user any
number of staff members can simultaneously enter and maintain
data |
|
| |
|
|
| |

This window is the update window for the person. The blue fields
are the required entry fields. The other information can be
added when it is known. Completing the data sheet after a visit
is the best source of this information. Use the large memo field
to enter the family member information and any other information
that will help the person making the visit more informed. |
|
| |
|
|
| |

The data for each visit is not complex but very important. The
date will default to the date the information is entered. If
this is not the correct date it is important to change it. This
is the value that drives the Last Visit and Next Visit date
fields. Record who made the visit and make any notations
concerning the visit. |
|
| |
|
|
| |

The data sheet can be used to update the information in the
Visitation database. Print a data sheet by first selecting the
person's record in the top listbox and clicking on the printer
icon on the lower left of the window. Use the key combination of
SHIFT + Click to highlight additional records to print. This way
any number of data sheets can be printed at one time. |
