The Pastor's Study - Library Detail
A separate library maintenance section allows all of your books, videos cassettes, audio cassettes, and periodicals to be cataloged with essential information. Each resource can have an unlimited number of subjects. These subjects can be cross referenced with your sermons. It also includes the value of the resource which will be invaluable in the event of an insurance claim.
Comprehensive Dewey decimal table you can edit. The Pastor's Study installs a table of Dewey decimal numbers to give you a start. The table is not complete but it is a start. You also may print spine labels to put on each volume and organize your library shelves.
MARC has been added in version 6.6. Enter the ISBN then connect to the Library or Congress via the Internet to automatically fill many of the data fields.
Enter the books ISBN and click the Globe button. If the ISBN is found the data fields will display.
Once the information has been retrieved from the Library of Congress it needs to be reviewed before saving to the update window.
This is the library update window. The blue fields are required. Enter the title, author's name, publisher and other detail. Select the report code and Dewey classification using a handy dropdown selector.
