 | | | | | | We Do Not Recommend Purchasing a CD-ROM | | | | | | | | RCL Software recommends purchasing all of our software titles using our easy to use download method and Google CheckoutŠ. There are a couple of reasons. First is you will save money. Secondly you will get your password as soon as your transaction has been processed. The last is the most important.
The policy of RCL Software has always been to not charge for upgrades or charge an annual maintenance fee. Other software companies depend on these as a continuing source of income. We trust in God for our needs!
Because of this policy we do not have a schedule to release upgrades. All of our programs are driven by the needs of our users, you and your church. If someone suggests a new feature and we think it is important we will make the change and release a new version. If the suggestion is good, but not major, we may include it with others in a major release.
When a new version is released all prior installation files, including the ones on a CD-ROM are no longer any good. The only way to assure your CD-ROM is going to work is to never upgrade.
How do you protect your investment if you do not have a CD? That is simple! Every computer sold in the last few years has a R/W CD-ROM. I do not think a computer can be purchased without one. You have already downloaded the program to your hard drive, now burn the installation program to your CD. Label the CD and write the password on the label. Now store it in a safe place. | | | | | | | |
